Updating Debian Now that we have the TS7200 booting Debian linux from the compact flash we can install the development tools that we need.The first step is to update debian using the apt-get functionality:apt-get update

The AnIML Tools blog has been neglected in the past little while.  The problem with running open source projects (here and here) and a startup company at the same time is that the projects with a revenue stream always win out.
That said I've been busy working on the next version of AnIML Tools (0.2.0).

To boot from the compact flash card of the TS-7200 the following steps were executed:

Partition the compact flash card

Put the Flash card in the USB reader and insert it into a linux desktop PC.

I recently picked up a new lens for my camera.  Now that I have the ability to shoot some decent close up shots I have a new challenge for this summer...

On the main online page of the Globe and Mail was this ugly little ad:

Graphically it looks like something from the Commodore 64 days... My favorite design feature is the colour scheme.  In what world does red mean good and green bad?

In related news, there will be a BioBarCamp held in Palo Alto this August which I'm planning on attending.

I guess the trip to the local Home Hardware is going to take a little longer than expected...

Back in March when I was attending the Pittcon conference in New Orleans I dropped by the Wiley booth to see what was new.
